They entertain people and hence start getting known as "look alike" of a particular celebrity. They also face a similar kind of fan following the way celebrities do but all this takes a lot of time and patience. These people are not considered less than celebrities. Elvis impersonators are the best kind of impersonators that the people have seen till date and they also love a similar kind of fan following just like Elvis Presley might have if he was alive today.
